In the beginning of this month, we were sure that AMD will present a quad-core processor Athlon II X4 641 Socket FM1, which will combine the default frequency of 2.8 GHz and the lack of graphics.  The corresponding model for a long time appears in the list of supported processors on the sites of motherboards manufacturers. However, yesterday, AMD has quietly introduced the processor Athlon II X4 651 with default frequency 3.0 GHz, which is priced at $ 92.  Formally, this is the fastest processor Socket FM1, but it lacks of integrated graphics core. AMD has changed the price of three Llano: A4-3300 (2.5 GHz): $ 69 -> $ 66; A4-3400 (2.7 GHz): $ 75 -> $ 71; A6-3500 (2.1 GHz): $ 89 -> $ 85. Symbolically dropped the price of six-core FX-6100 (3.3 GHz) Socket AM3 +, it has fallen in price from $ 165 to $ 155.  However, the  performance level can hardly compete with Bulldozer, and the latter, in turn, offer a much more affordable prices and available infrastructure in the face of motherboards with socket Socket AM3 +, and better overclock without extreme cooling due to the presence of free multiplier in all models Related Products :
