Last week, TSMC company began construction of sixth production line at Fab 14.  This enterprise will deploy TSMC 20nm production using 300mm plates, and in the future Fab 14 will be transferred to the 16 nm process technology FinFET.  In the first quarter  2013 will begin construction of the seventh line  Fab 14. Lines 1.4 Fab 14 capable of processing up to 540,000 300-millimeter wafers quarterly.  It produces more than 1,200 different kinds of chips for 150 customers.  In April of this year, TSMC began construction of the 5th line.  Under the plan, the total area of clean rooms 5, 6 and 7 lines will be 130 thousand square meters, which is 1.4 times greater than in the first four . In the next five years, TSMC plans to invest more than $ 17 billion in its facilities located in the Southern Taiwan Science Park, and recruit another 7,000 specialists. Related Products :
