NEC Display Solutions has announced the 24-inch MultiSync PA242W-BK and PA242W-BK-SV. They are designed for applications where accurate color reproduction is important, including photo retouching, video editing and pre-press printing materials. Second feature of the model is the presence of SpectraViewII calibrator and software.
Monitors NEC MultiSync PA242W uses LED backlight type GB-R. In GB-R illumination light source LEDs are green, and blue emission, the red component is obtained using a special filter. As stated, it allows to expand the color gamut compared with monitors equipped with conventional white LED backlight. Coverage of Adobe RGB space is declared equal to 99.3% of the space sRGB - 100%.
The monitor uses panels AH-IPS resolution of 1920 x 1200 pixels. Presentation of colors - 10-bit. You can load ICC profiles to emulate color spaces.
