British enthusiast 8 Pack and his German collaborator der8auer played the role of judges in Master overclocking arena 2014. 8 Pack got  second place in the benchmark 3DMark Fire Strike with a score of 39,412 points, obtained with four overclocked to 1830 MHz on the core of  GPU GeForce GTX 980 from MSI and CPU Core i7-5960X with a frequency of 5625 MHz, set the motherboard MSI X99S Xpower AC. Meanwhile, in 3DMark Fire Strike Extreme German der8auer clocked 25,824 points, which corresponds to the third place in a subset of the configurations with  four cards.  Der8auer used the same equipment as his comrade .
