iPhone 6 and iPhone  6 Plus, expected in September this year, will receive a body made of aluminum alloy 7000-series.  This innovative alloy already used in smart watches Apple Watch Sport.  It is said 60% more conventional aluminum alloy, and its density is two-thirds less than that of stainless steel.  It is manufactured using zirconium oxide, which gives the metal a light satin finish.  The material has a bright brilliant color and smooth texture without defects and impurities.
