MediaTek company officially announced two new 64-bit quad-core processors - MT8163 and MT8735. Each of them is designed for tablet PCs.
According to GSMArena, the new chip MediaTek MT8163 includes a quad-core Cortex-A53 64-bit architecture. It supports touch screen with a resolution of up to 1920 x 1080 pixels, the operating system Android 5.1 Lollipop, dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0, FM-radio and GPS.
MediaTek MT8735 offers a 64-bit processor with the same Cortex-A53 cores in the amount of four pieces. Like MediaTek MT8163, it support dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0, FM-radio, and GPS / GLONASS and 4G LTE.
The first tablet with the new SoC MediaTek will be launched in China and other Asian markets in the coming months. They will mainly belong to primary and middle price segment. Related Products :
