In the middle of this month, the Japanese agency Nikkei reported that the last  manufacturer of VCRs VHS standard ceases production of relevant units in July this year.  The name of the hero, which is still producing "cassette VCR" is Funai Electric.   Recently Funai brand in the markets of some areas leased by Asian manufacturers, ready to cash in on the nostalgic associations.  Speaking of video recorders, they were offered in a combined form - in one case with a DVD player and video recorder on a hard disk. The reason for its decision to curtail the release of VHS-VCR Funai refers not only to a drop in demand, but also the difficulty in obtaining the necessary components.  Under the brand Funai first VCR was released in 1984, and the progenitor of the genre is considered to be  JVC - this Japanese company has released the first device VHS-Class in 1976.  The last manufacturer, by the way, from his creation abdicated in 2008, and Sony has done it even earlier - in 2002.   Related Products :
