NVIDIA has licensed certain Rambus's technology to protect against data loss.  We are talking about DPA-type attacks to counter technology (Differential Power Analysis).  For protection against DPA-attack company Rambus developed a protocol, hardware and a set of programs. Attack DPA or differential power analysis - a non-classical side-channel attack.  By analyzing the power consumption or electromagnetic processor radiation controller or platform attacker is able to identify the keys or other critical for breaking the information system.   Note protection technology DPA-attack company Rambus received together with the company Cryptography Research, which it acquired in 2011 for $ 342 million.
