"Leapfrog acquisitions" in the semiconductor industry has continued this year.  Less than a year since a Freescale went under NXP Semiconductors, and the latter is already preparing to go under the control of Qualcomm's .  American giant can strengthen NXP range of proposals for its modems, and he needs the sensors, which are  in demand.
