The Japanese company Japan Display said yesterday that finalized FULL ACTIVE FLEX technology, which allow to create color displays on a flexible substrate.  The first product in this series will appear in the next year, it will receive a diagonal of 5.5 "and a resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels, providing accommodation pixel density of 401 dpi. Image refresh rate can be changed in steps of 60 to 15 Hz, enabling to significantly reduce energy consumption in a number of operating modes . IPS type of display on a flexible plastic base will provide a brightness of 500 cd / m² and contrast ratio of 1500: 1.  Further, such displays will be used not only in the production of smartphones, but also automobile devices and laptops.   Related Products :
