Currently only Intel X58 chipset officially supported NVIDIA SLI technology. For users with Intel x38, X48 and P45 it was necessary to think about platform change , if they made the selection in favor of graphic system on several GPU. Yesterday appeared a comparatively simple method to include SLI support on ASUS maximus formula motherboard, which use Intel X38 chipset. It was successfully tested on the configuration, which includes the 3d- card NVIDIA GeForce 8600GT and GeForce GTX 260. The proposed by enthusiast method, was checked by our associates on the configuration, which includes the processor Intel QX9650, ASUS maximus II Formular, 3d- card yeston GeForce GTX260+ 896GD3 and Galaxy GeForce GTX 260+.
