VIA technologies company presented VX900, which is placed in MSP category (media system processor). In fact, this is the single chip with the integrated graphic core. It is intended for the use together with VIA nano 3000 processors.  We note the HD possibility which provides VIA chromotionHD 2.0, which realized the hardware acceleration of video decoding in the format h.264. . Maximally supported resolution is 1080p. The graphic core VIA chrome9 corresponds to the requirements directX 9.0. In the list of interfaces, enters the Display port, HDMI, DVP, VGA and LVDS/TMDS.  The chipset VIA VX900 supports DDR3 memory, which works at frequencies u to 1066 MHz. Besides the processors VIA nano 3000, with the new chipset are compatible other processors VIA nano, VIA C7 and VIA eden. The expansion possibilities provides the PCI express 2.0 interface (one line x8 and three lines x1) and PCI (two slots). Furthermore, there is a eight-channel sound codec VIA vinyl HD.
