Shinanokenshi, the parental company Of plextor, decided to made end for the release of CD DVD- disk . Reason is simple : plextor did not maintain the price competition with the Taiwan and Korean producers. The production of company, which began the production of optical drives (OP) in 1990, was always characterized by high price, which accompanied the mark of (Quality King) . However, in recent years prices on OP were considerably reduced, and profit from this business ceased to satisfy Shinanokenshi. It is reported that previously Plextor warned its Japanese channels about the curtailment of the deliveries for DVD- burner PX-755A and PX-760A. The reserves of these devices will be as soon as sold, in stores they will not appear. Plextor will as before release OP for the industrial application and sound equipment. It is not excluded also, that the company will be focused in Blu-ray. | ||
