TDK Corporation is preparing a series of solid-state drives Industrial grade protection SDG3B, which will be offered in versions up to 128GB, and will be available by the end of September. SSD SATA drives are compatible with the second generation (up to 3 Gb / s) and use the controllers TDK GBDriver RS3.  TDK will release a series of drives, some will be based on flash memory chips SLC NAND. These version will use SSD volume from 8 to 64 GB and read and write can provide bandwidth up to 160 and 60 Gb / s, respectively. Devices with MLC NAND memory offers twice storage space, but the performance of SSD in the sequential write operations is reduced to 25 MB / sec. SSD can easily work in extreme climatic conditions like high humidity. Drives support algorithms leveling cell chip memory, advanced error correction technology (up to 44 bits per sector), 128-bit AES encryption , a function that prevents unauthorized copying of data storage and protected against power failures.
