In the official report of Micron, the two sides reached a final agreement. Micron Company becomes a Elpida sponsor.  American manufacturer shall to provide support the restructuring of Japan's compny by $ 2.5 billion.  After the transaction of this amount $ 750 million will be paid for all the creditors of Elpida shares.  The company will become the sole owner of Micron Elpida, which involves the acquisition of 300-mm DRAM-manufacturing company in Hiroshima and its patents on the technology of memory production for the mobile market: tablets and smartphones. The remaining balance of $ 1.75 billion will be spent on Elpida debt.  The money will be paid until 2019 from the profits .  Also, Micron is committed to develop production in Japan and take care of the staff of the company. Together with the shares of Elpida company Micron  will receive 65% of the securities of Taiwanese memory manufacturer - the company Rexchip Electronics.  Separately, Micron buys 24% stake in the group Rexchip Powerchip.  As a result, Micron company will receive a  Rexchip share equal to 89%.  This means that the American manufacturer of memory will be able to almost completely dispose of the facilities of the Taiwanese computer memory manufacturer, which is a 300-mm factory in Taiwan and assembly factory in Japan.  The total production of Micron, so will exceed 200,000 300mm wafers per month.  The company estimates that it will meet the 50% increase in production volumes.  More importantly, Micron company has now become a manufacturer  absolutely for all types of modern memory, ranging from the NOR-and NAND-flash and DRAM and ending with its mobile versions. In the first quarter Micron and Elpida shares were respectively 11.6% and 12.4% in terms of revenue.  Share of SK Hynix in this case was equal to 23.9%.   Related Products :
