At the end of the outgoing week Mushkin company announced the launch of the world's first solid state drive mSATA, the volume of which is equal to 480 GB. The product is based on MLC NAND chips and controller LSI-SandForce SF-2281, which is well understood by the example set SSD. Drive supports SATA interface with a capacity of 6 Gb / s.  Atlas series Dimensions are 50.80 x 29.85 x 4.85 mm.  As already mentioned, SSD sales will begin next month, it will cost $ 500.
