Buffalo company at CeBIT 2013 has brought a new model - DriveStation Mini Thunderbolt SSD Edition. Â This device combines two drive size 2.5-inch on flash memory in a small enclosure with active cooling. Â SSD operate as two separate drives (Buffalo calls this mode JBOD, but this term can be interpreted in two ways), and a utility for Mac OS X will integrate the device into an array of RAID.
In RAID 0 read speed serial data DriveStation Mini reaches 740 MB / s, write - 600 MB / s. Â On sale will be available few versions with total capacity of 256 GB (ˆ 470), 512GB (ˆ 660) and 1 TB (ˆ 1100).
