Exactly a year ago, AMD introduced a server graphics card FirePro S10000, based on two graphic cores Tahiti, each of which has 1792 stream processors active. AMD today announced a new version of this solution, which has 12 GB of onboard memory.  The video card is designed for use in high-performance workstations and high-end data centers. AMD calls a lot of ways to use the FirePro S10000, highlighting the main advantages of the solution. Recall that the peak performance of graphics cards is estimated at 5.91 teraflops in single precision and 1.48 teraflops in double precision. FirePro S10000 with 12 GB of memory will be available in the spring of 2014, the price of the solution is not specified.
