Samsung has filed a patent that describes the authentication process using a retinal scanner. Although these applications or patents does not mean immediate implementation of technology in the finished device. Iris, like fingerprints, also has its own unique pattern. The scanning eyes is faster and more accurate, even if the user wears glasses or contact lenses.
