Seagate and Western digital companies will begin soon the deliveries of hard disks with SATA-300 interface and 1 Tb (1000 Gb) volume . Seagate company announced the appropriate hard disk in the end of June in the series barracuda 7200.11, while company WD presented the series Of caviar GP . Let us recall that 1 TB HDD from Seagate is characterized by a smaller quantity of magnetic sheets - four against five, and the buffer volume is identical 32 mb. During October samsung company intends to begin the deliveries of 1TB hard disk with three plates , so the competition promises to be high. This week the hard disk seagate ST31000340AS with volume 1 Tb appeared in Japanese stores. The most interesting, that in this expensive country the cost of this hard disk is close to the recommended: $405 and $399 respectively. In some Internet- stores this HDD is often more expensive.  Here is the photo of 1TB Seagate disk in sale.  Competing product from WD ( WD10EACS ) promises to enter in Japanese stores during October in the present year.
