NVIDIA Corporation Technical Support site has published a document according to which products, limited API Direct3D 10 will be transferred to the category obsolete. This will happen simultaneously with the release of drivers under the number 340, the next version of the software for NVIDIA cards will only support processors generations Fermi, Kepler and Maxwell.
It should be noted that products with Direct3D 10 support the company plans to April 1, 2016, as required by releasing updates and fixes drivers version 340. Likewise, NVIDIA made with solutions that support Direct3D 9 - in the category of obsolete, they were transferred in October 2012, but the latest update their drivers dated February 2013.
Product List pre-retirement is quite extensive and includes more than 100 lines of GeForce, Quadro and Tesla. Interestingly, AMD decided to stop supporting the products with Direct3D 10 almost two years ago, in April 2012.
