According to the newspaper, which has a lot of own sources in the industry, Asian ODM-makers expect that in the third quarter notebook shipments will increase by 5-10% compared to the previous quarter.  Growth will continue in the fourth quarter, bringing the ratio of shipments of laptops on the market in the first and second half of this year will be 45:55 respectively. The publication notes that the Taiwanese ODM-manufacturer Compal Electronics, which cooperates with companies such as Acer, Lenovo, Dell, Toshiba, Hewlett-Packard, in June this year put on the market 4.4 million notebooks compared with 3.5 million laptops shipped in May .  Management expects that in the third quarter notebook shipments increase by 10% compared to the previous quarter and will continue to grow and in the final quarter of this year.  As for the company Wistron, it last month delivered a total of 1.9 million notebooks. ODM-manufacturers expect growth of deliveries in July will be negligible or no change compared with the previous month, but in August shipment increase.
