Initially, it was planned that the processors Bristol Ridge in the performance of Socket AM4 will appear on the market earlier than the more progressive media of the Zen architecture of Ryzen family, and this will allow owners of appropriate motherboards to "wait out difficult times." However, in reality hybrid Bristol Ridge processors began to be retailed as a stand-alone product already after Ryzen appeared on sale, and now they are of some interest for those who are ready to assemble
the system with the Socket AM4 connector in stages.
It can be recalled that among the Bristol Ridge processors in the Socket AM4 version there are also economical versions with a TDP level of not more than 35 W - they are easily recognized by the letter "E" at the end of the model designation. A couple of such processors have recently been seen in Japanese retail by colleagues from the site AKIBA PC Hotline - it is in a boxed version.
Processors A12-9800E and A10-9700E have more modest frequencies: 3.1 / 3.8 GHz and 3.0 / 3.5 GHz, respectively. Moreover, they have lower graphics core frequencies - 900 and 847 MHz, respectively. Specific Japanese specimens were issued at the end of May this year. We should not forget that the processing cores of these processors are content with the mature architecture of Excavator, and with the Ryzen processors they are related only to the overall design and support for DDR4
memory. Related Products :
