Last year, Samsung introduced a smartphone, one side of the screen which was wrapped on the device side face   (model Galaxy Edge).  In the new model Galaxy S6 Edge screen already wrapped on both sides  .  This is not flexible screens.  As stated Samsung,  transition to the second generation of flexible display was due to AMOLED-screen. As the substrate to create a new generation of displays is selected glass polyimide.  The new material went to great foundation on which is applied electronic circuits and components.  Display Galaxy S6 Edge got 75% more pixels than its predecessor.  The total screen resolution is 1440 x trends 2560 pixels or 577 pixels per inch. Electronic control display splits the screen into strips width of 7 mm.  Each of these bands is controlled and updated independently of the other.  In other words, the display can be updated only in one of the side edges, leaving all the rest of the image static.  This technique provides about 20% of energy saving in an active mode. Color gamut displays new scheme corresponds to 100% Adobe RGB.  The ceiling for the best LCD-screens - a 70% Adobe RGB.  Also improved pixel response time - up to 0.01 ms.   Related Products :
