One of the last presented by AMD graphics cards, Radeon R9 380X, based on the well familiar GPU Tonga. The decision has 2048 stream processors and 4 GB of memory with 256-bit interface.
Tonga received a graphics processor 384-bit memory bus, but AMD has not been able to find a balance between cost and performance solutions, ultimately sacrificing the latter. Today, all existing graphics accelerators based on Tonga only use 256 bit memory bus.
This AMD revelation has generated a lot of speculation about what the future may see some "improved Radeon R9 380X". It is hardly possible, given that AMD is now working on new products that can appear in the summer of next year. Related Products :
