This year, the Taiwanese company HTC will be responsible for the release of two new Google Nexus smartphones with standard Android 7.0 Nougat on board. Smartphones, known to us under the code names "Sailfish" and "Marlin", has paid a visit to the Federal Communications Commission (FCC).
According to GSMArena, new smartphones HTC Nexus "Sailfish" and "Marlin" July 20 received FCC certificates. To be more precise, in the United States have been certified version of the new smart phones, sales of which will be engaged in a major local mobile operator Verizon.
Nexus "Sailfish" will come to replace the Nexus 5X, which was released last year, jointly with South Korea from LG. It will get a 5-inch display with a resolution of Full HD (1920x1080 pixels), 4 GB of RAM and 16 or 32GB of internal memory and two cameras: a 12-megapixel main and 8-megapixel front. As Nexus "Marlin", it is the successor to Huawei Nexus 6P, which, like the LG Nexus 5X, debuted in 2015. The equipment innovations will include a 5.5-inch display with Quad HD (2560h1440 pixels), Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 or Snapdragon 821 processor and battery to 3450 mAh. The memory volume is 4 GB and the capacity of the built-in drive - 32 GB or 128.
