In May this year GeIL company  has introduced a very interesting line of DDR4 memory modules for desktops, called Evo X. And now the manufacturer begins to sell new modules, the main feature of which is the presence of RGB-LED backlight. Recall that in one case (but on different boards) with the memory module is placed a special module backlight Hybrid Independent Light Module (HILM), which has an external power supply, and can be connected to the connector for the LED strip on the motherboard that allows  to adjust the backlight through the utility from the motherboard manufacturer.  Also HILM module can be connected to the connector for the fans, but in this case using a special switch can only select red, green or blue illumination, or include cyclic smooth transition of all colors.
