The compatibility of cooling system attachments with new motherboards for processors Socket AM4 has already been studied comprehensively.  The manufacturers of cooling systems either offer free sets of attachments for Socket AM4, or they produce completely new compatible coolers, and in some cases guarantee that the old coolers will be installed in new boards without problems.  It turns out that these nuances of compatibility are not limited, as explained by colleagues from the site Tom's Hardware Guide .   The source found that a number of motherboards are equipped with reinforcing plates with threaded connections of excessive length, which, when the cooling system is installed, does not secure a close fit of the cooler base to the processor cover.  The reason for this discrepancy lies in the late provision of information by AMD to its partners.
