After a detailed study of ASRock site , the online resource VideoCardz was able to find confirmation of the manufacturer's plans to release motherboards on the flagship platforms of Intel and AMD. Recall that motherboards of the highest level on Intel's platforms rely on the chipset X299, and motherboards on AMD's platforms use the chipset X399. So, ASRock on the X299 chipset is preparing four motherboards: X299 Fatal1ty Professional Gaming i9, X299 Fatal1ty Professional Gaming i7, X299 Gaming K6 and X299 Taichi. As we can see, Intel really plans to use the "i9" brand for the most senior processors. All the above motherboards belong to the "Fatal1ty" series. For connoisseurs of AMD platforms, only one single board based on the X399 chipset is prepared - a solution called Fatal1ty X399 Professional Gaming. In fact, this is the first official confirmation of the existence of the AMD X399 chipset, which was previously mentioned only in the context of rumor circulation. Separately, we add that ASRock is preparing boards based on AMD chipsets in the compact ITX format: X370 Gaming-ITX / ac and AB350 Gaming-ITX / ac. | ||
