American enthusiast Splave conquer a new record in HWBot Prime used a Core i3-7350K processor with two cores and active Hyper-Threading, which he managed to overclock to 6870 MHz using liquid nitrogen.  The first place among the processors with two cores corresponds to the result of 6051.02 points. The best time in wPrime 32M (5.75 seconds) is shown at a frequency of 6.8 GHz. The author claims that he removed the cover from the processor, and installed a reservoir of liquid nitrogen directly on the crystal, having previously applied a Thermal Grizzly thermo interface to it. An attentive reader could notice that an engineering sample of the processor was used. This could contribute to achieving a higher frequency, but the main property of engineering samples - they often get to the owners for free! Related Products : | ||
