EK Water Blocks continues to expand its line of highly specialized water blocks that belong to the "monoblock" class and presents a novelty called EK-FB ASUS Strix X299-E RGB Monoblock, which, as you might guess, is designed to drain heat from motherboard-based systems Asus ROG Strix X299-E Gaming.
The EK-FB ASUS Strix X299-E RGB has a nickel-plated copper base, which, like a monoblock, contacts not only the processor cover installed in the LGA 2066 connector, but also with the power supply system elements of the board. This is especially useful when overclocking, when these very elements get very hot, and the regular radiators are not always able to cope with their cooling.
As with all EK Water Blocks, the novelty uses a scheme for separating the flow of coolant, which is designed to improve the efficiency of heat transfer. Also note that the coolant flows directly to the area of the EK-FB ASUS Strix X299-E RGB waterblock, which contacts the processor cover, which also has a positive effect on cooling efficiency. There is also a low hydraulic resistance of the novelty, which makes it possible to use even low-power pumps.
The upper part of the EK-FB ASUS Strix X299-E RGB waterblock is made of transparent organic glass and is equipped with an LED RGB-backlight that is fully compatible with Asus Aura Sync, which will allow it to synchronize with the illumination of the entire system. The backlight is connected through the 4-pin connector, and by the way, it can either be turned off, or completely removed the tape (a black strip in the bottom of the water block).
The EK-FB ASUS Strix X299-E RGB waterblock will be on sale in the official EK Water Blocks online store on August 10 at a price of 120 euros. Related Products :
