IronKey company announced the sale of business development of hardware security devices that use an USB interface.  The new owner of units will be Imation company , while IronKey will focus on developing cloud security services.  The amount of transaction were not disclosed, but it is known that some of the necessary operations will be completed within 30 days.  In addition, both companies signed a long-term partnership agreement under which Imation will offer its customers the tools developed by IronKey: to ensure the security of mobile devices, data encryption, fraud prevention and protection for virtual environments. Getting rid of hardware business, IronKey will accelerate the development of cloud security services.  IronKey and Imation does not specify exactly what technology will be used together.
