The proximity of LGA 2011 platform and X79 chipset announcement, was confirmed indirectly by Intel this week after sending notice to partners about the end of Intel X58 chipset production. The chipset Intel X79, has brought revolutionary changes in comparison with X58. Order for Intel X58 will be possible up to 27 April 2012, the last chipsets batch will be shipped in 5 October this year. This means that manufacturers can produce motherboards with LGA 1366 almost until the end of next year. | ||
