Intel company yesterday announced a cooperative effort with MasterCard to develop a new secure payments technologies for payments in shops. It is assumed that ultrabook and other computers types based on Intel technology will support Intel Identity Protection , and it will allow them to accept payments by cards with PayPass enabled or smart phone with integrated NFC-chip.
The support for hardware security mechanisms and advanced authentication algorithm allows such devices to ensure the security of payments while simplifying the procedure of payment for goods and Internet services .
According to official Intel website , support for the Identity Protection provides Core second generation and more fresh processor. This means that even ultrabook based on Sandy Bridge processors are able to provide the benefits described above, fast and secure payment for goods in shops.
