IBM, together with the Swiss company ST Microelectronics decided to go back to the development of electronics with mechanical relay as a base element.  Moreover, the European Commission has allocated funds amounting to 2.44 million euros for the program of research in this field, designed for 3 years.  In addition to the companies mentioned in the study will be involved experts from universities in France, Sweden and UK.
