NEC announced a new monitor - MultiSync MD242C2. New product is designed specifically for hospitals, where it can be used in the diagnostic systems, MRI and X-ray machines. The LCD panel type IPS diagonal 24.1-inch 1920 x 1200 pixels has the following characteristics: Brightness - 350 cd / m?, contrast ratio - 1 000:1, pixel response time - 8 ms, viewing angle - 178 degrees vertically and horizontally. Like other NEC monitors, designed for professional applications, MultiSync MD242C2 equipped with motion sensors and lighting. Also, the monitor support PIP (Picture-in-Picture) and PBP (Picture-by-Picture), and the display itself is raised on transformable stand that supports translation of the screen from landscape to portrait mode (pivot). Monitor is equipped with four video inputs (DisplayPort, DVI-D, HDMI, Mini D-Sub),as well as provides the opportunity to connect to a PC through the port USB.
