In 2005, several large U.S. companies have created a non-profit organization One Laptop Per Child Association, which seeks to provide educational opportunities to children in developing countries. The Association provides educational institutions with special laptops that have so far diverged many millions of copies.
The ideologists of OLPC hold current trends and the next will be the pupils' computer tablet XO Tablet, the official debut will take place on 1 June. The device is aimed at children aged three years; tablet is equipped with a seven-inch screen and is enclosed in a robust case to sorts all trouble.
The tablet runs on Android 4.2 operating system with two hundred special applications in English and Spanish, as well as e-books.
At the same time OLPC plans to launch two interesting peripheral devices for laptops XO-4, which will expand the educational opportunities of the computer. This microscope, which is connected to one of the USB-port of the laptop and a telescope that should be set on the camera lens.
