Even at the end of last year we learned that the first quarter will give us processors Kabini Socket FS1b , which allows to separate them from the respective motherboards. AMD will release these processors for the sake of competition with the platform Intel Bay Trail.
This March processors Kabini get another unit designation: Socket AM1 instead Socket FS1b. Apparently, Socket AM1 will subconsciously associate the user with other desktop processors AMD.
Kabini range Socket AM1 models changed compared to the previous version : it is two Quad-Core A4-5350 (1.6 GHz) and A4-3850 (1.3 GHz) with 2 MB of cache, and a dual-core processor E1-2650 (1.45 GHz ) with 1 MB cache. All three models have a TDP level not more than 25 watts. Computational core architecture is Jaguar, onboard graphics generation GCN supports DirectX 11.1.
