The idea of motherboard witch use DDR-2 memory together with chipset intel x38 gradually lost popularity. MSI Company removed the motherboard on base Of intel x38 with simultaneous support to DDR-2 and DDR- 3 due to problems with compatibility and speed level . In the numbers of hybrid solutions supporters remained foxconn company , and today we have the detailed photographs of the corresponding motherboard, which was known to us under the name foxconn X38A.  For the chipset cooling system the solution is sufficiently uncommon, but it has already been used on other foxconn motherboard.  One of the main advantage in the motherboard foxconn X38A are the four slots DIMM DDR-2 and two slots DDR- 3.  There are three slots PCI express x16 ( only two work at full speed ).
