If earlier Rambus company was limited to the sale of intellectual property, from now on ot begins to order the release of proprietary solutions, and will sell them on their own manufacturers.  First branded products company became Rambus chipset (a set of register buffers) for modules RDIMM and LRDIMM DDR4. Register memory differ from conventional DIMM modules so that modules are installed special buffers (registers), allowing to organize the access to a large amount of RAM than the chipset or processor. Moreover, there are also mechanisms to increase the speed of data exchange with the memory system. The first of these products will be Rambus buffers RB26, delivery of which will begin in the fourth quarter this year.  It should be said that the company will not release Rambus modules RDIMM and LRDIMM DDR4. Edition memory modules based on Rambus RB26 (and follow) the contract will take the company Micron, SK Hynix and Samsung. As you can see, Rambus has found ways to persuade all.
