Currently, Samsung Display is a leading manufacturer of OLED-panels. Samsung produce the Display AMOLED-display are used not only in Samsung mobile devices, and smartphones from other brands. But in the future, Samsung Display can oust Chinese manufacturers AMOLED-panel. According to Digitimes Research, the Chinese smartphone makers may be reluctant to cooperate with Samsung Display, giving preference to local suppliers of AMOLED-display. AMOLED-panel manufactured by Chinese manufacturers, which inferior in quality to Samsung Display . And they can not expect to receive orders from Apple and other international smartphones manufacturers , at least in the next five years. But Chinese AMOLED-display may find its way into smartphones Chinese brands, whose share in the global mobile market in recent years is growing. Digitimes Research Analysts say that Chinese manufacturers are now developing their own technology and increase production volumes. By 2020, their total size of production capacity will exceed 50% of the capacity of LG Display and Samsung Display. I must say that now the Chinese manufacturers significantly lag behind Samsung Display and LG Display. So, Optronics only this year will reach the level that Samsung has achieved in 2014. Everdisplay Optronics lags behind Samsung for 3 years, and other Chinese suppliers of AMOLED-panels behind by 4-5 years. Recall, the company Samsung Display began production of flexible AMOLED-panel using the polyimide in the second half of 2014.
