Qualcomm  reported on the work in the last quarter   2016 calendar year.  In respect of the annual revenue for the period increased by 3.9%, but it was slightly less than analysts' expectations.  During the fourth quarter, Qualcomm raised $ 6 billion. A year ago, the amount of revenue reached $ 5.78 billion. Analysts expected the company's revenue in the amount of $ 6.12 billion. Qualcomm's net profit declined significantly - by as much as 54%.  Thus, in the fourth quarter of 2015 the company received a $ 1.49 billion net profit in the fourth quarter 2016 net income was $ 681 million. The drop rate was for the reason that in December, South Korean Commission for Fair Trade (KFTC) has demanded from Qualcomm a fine of $ 868 million for anti-competitive behavior in the market.  This amount was deducted from the profits, but Qualcomm plans to continue to defend their case and for the occasion. the company also has to prove  innocence in the two claims of Apple to it (one in the US and one in China, totaling over $ 1 billion) and to sustain an investigation by the US Federal Trade Commission (FTC).   Despite filed against it by Apple lawsuits, Qualcomm company will continue to supply its products for smartphones and Apple tablet.  From the supply of components, Apple and Samsung, Qualcomm receives up to 40% of revenue.  In the first quarter, Qualcomm expects revenue in the range of $ 5.5- $ 6.3 billion.
