The console was released on March 3, and in less than a month the Japanese company around the world managed to sell about 2.74 million copies of the novelty.  The number of games sold and other software for this console was 5.46 million copies.  The main game for the novelty - The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild - sold out in an incomplete month with a circulation of 2.76 copies.
