One Japanese enthusiast got the hybrid processor Kabini Socket AM1 and removed the IHS. I must say that this experience has no practical value , since the processors in this series does not have a high heat dissipation (TDP = 25 W), and motherboards with socket Socket AM1 are adapted for overclocks.
