Rambus company does not need a special introduction. There is hardly anyone in the semiconductor industry, who can tell about it a few kind words. It started with forgery of documentation and continued buying up companies and development, which gives it a base in the patent war on many fronts.  New Initiative Rambus directly affect users. The company offers manufacturers of processors to sell solutions with a limited set of features, but then for the money remotely unlock certain functions. This so-called service Feature as a Service (FaaS) or expanding upon request. In the coming years, Rambus warned , semiconductor manufacturers face a termination of Moore's Law, which means that a relatively simple means to profit from the production - reducing the rate of production and increasing the density of the chips - will not work.
