Noble ideas OLPC project have been used in various devices implemented on a commercial basis, with varying degrees of success.  The first "student notebooks" became the prototype of a netbook, which after a sharp surge of interest significantly lost in popularity, but still  used in situations where a more expensive computer is not needed.   As explained by the Computerworld website, OLPC One Education, which since August ready to offer customers ten-inch tablet Infinity: One with Windows 10 and connects the keyboard unit for only $ 230.  The bulk of the orders is coming from Australian schools, so the power supply of the device is compatible with the national standard connector. Protection against moisture, dust and shock are much more important than high performance when it comes to the electronic device for use in schools.  A quad-core Atom processor with a frequency of not more than 1.92 GHz is adjacent to 2 GB of RAM and SSD 64GB, which can be supplemented by microSD memory cards up to 128GB.  Ten-inch screen has the austere 1024 x 800 pixels, two cameras are provided: a front with a resolution of two megapixels and the rear with a resolution of five megapixels.  Light sensor, gyroscope, compass, and accelerometer determines the possibility of "senses" of the tablet.  Additionally, there are a microphone, speakers, and touch screen. In addition to micro-USB 3.0 and USB 2.0 ports, the device can boast the presence of micro-HDMI output for connecting an external monitor.  Regular battery capacity of 7500 mA • h, according to the manufacturer, enough for ten hours of operation.   Related Products :
