TDK Company on CEATEC 2010 measure, demonstrated the model of optical disk, capable of storing one tera-byte of information. The secret of impressive capacity lies in the presence of 16 slots with each of two disk sides . Each layer contains 32 Gb , for the production of such disks will be used material with the high light transmission - up to 95,1% per layer. Sixteen slot in the totality give the light transmission level 72,6%.  The only problem, which prevents the fastest introduction of new disk type is the increased thickness of recording layer, which in the developed BY TDK disk is equal to 260 m.
