Hard disks producers are not limited to volumes competition but also in data write density. Seagate pretends to be the leader in density writing with 250 Gb plates, samsung company is ready to begin the deliveries of hard disks series spinpoint F1, which includes two models with 1000 Gb volume (1 TB), which consist in three magnetic disk. . It is easy to calculate, that in one plate ( in hard disks samsung ) they will be 334 Gb data. The tetra-byte models has the designation HD102UJ and HD103UJ, the first has 16 mb buffer , the second come with 32 mb . Both hard disk have the form factor 3.5 inch, they are equipped with SATA-300 interface , 7200 rp/min, and search time is equal to 8,9 ms.  In this series will be also presented hard disks with 320 Gb, 500 Gb and 750 Gb equipped with (from 8 to 32 mb) buffer . These hard disks also use the technology perpendicular record. In German retail the version of tetra byte hard disk spinpoint F1 with 32 mb buffer can be already ordered for 240 Euro. Tera-byte Hitachi disk is approximately 60 Euro- more expensive. ...
