Last week was a conference 3GPP organization that oversees the development of the standard next generation mobile communication - 5G.  Despite all the hype in the press about the trial run 5G platforms with deployment of experimental stations and constant references to the development of compatible modems to talk about some of the standard   is severely premature.   Working standard is divided into two parts.  By September 2018 the first phase of specifications creation will be realized.  It aims at improving the broadband services in the range up to 6 GHz with partial support connections with reduced latency.  Draft specifications 5G first phase of promise to appear in May 2018.   The second phase of the development of 5G specification should be completed by December 2019.  It describes the operation of cellular networks in the range above 28 GHz and will include machine-to-machine communication.  Work on the second phase has already begun, but so far they are carried out in the discussion stage. Thus, a subject of dispute storage type air interface (OFDM) and the use of antennas types   (MIMO).  It is said that the use of MIMO technology will evolve from 4G to 5G networks at a lower cost, which would gladly have embraced operators.
