Intel company was finally, determined with the official announcement periods of its high end chipset Intel x38. According to new information, this chipset will be released on 10 October. AND beginning from this date numerous motherboards will begin to be sold .

Let us recall, The update witch come with intel x38 chipset , besides the support of the promising 45 nm penryn processors . First, This chipset will propose the support of higher-speed system bus PCI express 2.0 and crossFire technology according to PCI express x16 + PCI Of express x16. In the second place, it will possess the optimized DDR3 SDRAM controller , which supports XMP expansions (Extreme memory profiles) and fast memory access technology .

Intel also prepares motherboard, based on X38 chipset , which figures under the code name bonetrail.

Intel promises, that this motherboard will arrange all users, including overclocker. At least, it is expected that Bonetrail, in contrast to predecessors, will be able without difficulty to overclock the system bus FSB and to change all basic voltage in the system.
